1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Peritra you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. The Platform

Peritra is a marketplace that enables customers to find and contact specialists. Peritra facilitates introductions only and is not a party to any agreement or engagement made between a customer and a specialist.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information in your profile or communications.
• Use the platform for spam, harassment or any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data.
• Scrape, crawl or otherwise systematically extract data from the platform.
• Post content that is defamatory, offensive or infringes third-party rights.

4. Specialist Responsibilities

Specialists are solely responsible for the accuracy of the qualifications, credentials and services they list. Peritra does not verify professional licences. Specialists must comply with all applicable professional regulations and laws relevant to the services they offer.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for independently verifying a specialist's credentials before engaging their services. Peritra does not endorse or guarantee the quality of any specialist listed on the platform.

6. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. Peritra reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these terms or that are flagged as fraudulent or abusive. Review manipulation (purchasing, incentivising or fabricating reviews) is prohibited and may result in account suspension.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peritra is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from any engagement between a customer and a specialist facilitated through Peritra. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of £100 or the amounts you have paid to us in the preceding 12 months.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time via your account settings. We will process deletion requests within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of Peritra after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
